Clock spider as risk event

I know this photo has been around for a long time but I can’t help but think of this picture as a great metaphor for risk management.  When planning a project, it’s important to consider what could be lurking under the surface waiting to a) derail your project or b) hide under your wall clock waiting to scare the living bejesus out of you.

If this happened in my office I’d likely scream like a girl and be no help whatsoever.
