How Does Stress Affect the Body?

As you move through your life and career, there will be no shortage of issues that cause you stress. Most of us know that too much stress is a bad thing, but not everybody knows exactly what’s happening in the body when things start to get hairy. The following infographic is meant to help folks understand why a little stress can be a good thing, but a lot of stress can be very dangerous. Please pass this around to people you think might benefit. And yes, I made the infographic myself!

I’m a professor of project management at the college where I work. My students continually amaze me with their insights, passion and all-around awesomeness. I figure they deserve access to more answers than I can give them by myself. This site is for them.
