Okay, so as many of you know, recent challenges in my life caused me to say, “the hell with it” and go back to school to finish my degree. It’s been a very busy time, which included relocation, a dog that’s not sure what’s going on, getting re-registered at the university, and starting up. As the summer session is only six weeks long, my time so far has also been filled with two papers, two exams and a presentation. EEK!
Incidentally? If you’ve ever thought of writing a textbook to teach people how much you know, texts are an outrageous price! If you can get yours listed in a curriculum, you’ll making a killing, it’s no joke!
Anyway, one of my classes is in Communication, and it’s going great. I had to do an in-class presentation as part of my grade, and I thought I’d share it with you!
If you’re reading this, you’re likely familiar with Elizabeth Harrin’s work. She wrote an excellent article about two years ago on Impostor Syndrome, which was the inspiration for my talk!
I only had five minutes to speak, so I couldn’t get too detailed, but hopefully there’s enough information there to be helpful. There’s also an accompanying Impostor Syndrome Scorecard that you can view here.
Incidentally, I got 98% on the assignment, which is groovy! So, um, thanks, Elizabeth!
PS: Don’t mind the gigantic university hair. I really, really need a haircut.
