Well, it’s been a long, long wait, but overwhelmingly worth it. All the Papercut sites are now live. What is Papercut you ask? Well, it’s my way of giving back to the project management community after over 20 years in the profession. I’ve seen a lot in that time. I think the biggest lesson I’ve learned is, there are no “silver bullet” answers, or “right” ways of doing things; there are only consequences to decisions.
Projects can have so many variables and moving parts that it becomes very difficult to foresee the outcomes of your decisions. If you can’t see the consequences, how do you know a particular course of action will get you the results you want? This is where years of battle-worn experience can lend a skilled hand.
Papercut is about helping you get your projects done. Through this blog I offer tons of free advice, and free tools to help shed light in areas you may not have considered. Through my main site, I offer project management coaching and guidance to project managers on the go. I also offer tons more tools for tracking your projects (all free of charge to Papercut customers), and a wide array of tailored project management products and services.
Lastly, Papercut is a harbour of calm in the rough seas of your projects. You won’t find judgments here. Trust me, I’ve seen it all before. Together we work through problems, and identify those solutions that will keep you on the most direct course.

A lot of busy people took extensive personal time to help bring these sites to life. They are:
- Jeff Watkins, Graphic Designer
- Kadie Ward, Copywriter
- Rory Kilkenny, Technical Advisor
- Sean Evans, Web Developer
- Steve Kelly, Photographer
Thanks to all of them, and thanks to you, for reading! If these resources can help you, even in a small way, they will have been worth the effort to create them.
